My University Life

University life is one of the most charming and memorable time in the life of the students because this is the stage when they starts to become mature and more sensible as they starts to feel their responsibilities as well as they have slightly more freedom from their homes as compared to the college or school lives. After complete my S.S.C and H.S.C from Bangladesh rifles College I decided to admit this university. The reason I admit into this university is it’s very near to my house as well as it’s one of the most well known private university in Bangladesh. The name of my university is University Of Liberal Arts Bangladesh. Now it has already passed 3 years science I entered into this university. Now I think it’s a good opportunity for me to talk about my university life. I want to focus on some aspect this time. It is also relevant to my aim which I had had when I entered this university. It is the Business study.

First I want to talk about the difference between college life and university life that I face when I admit into university. Moving from college to university is a new experience from me. I started my university life in 2013 science that I feel the difference. The university life is more complex than college life. In university students are busy doing their assignment all the time but in college i didn't face that. I faced quiz every week in my university life but in my college life i just set for only 3 term exam.Although there is a similarity between university and college life that is the cultural environment of the institutions. A lot of students find a big difficulty to adapt them to the university atmosphere. In fact, there are a lot of measures that can help students to find a good place in the university, three of which are remarkable; making friendship, living on the campus and doing extra curricula activities. The first obstacle I faced in university life is making friendship because I am not good at making friendship this is because I don’t talk too much with others which suffers me for a very long time. After realizing friendship is an interesting step for me to adapt myself to university atmosphere I started talking to others and making friendship. There is no doubt that friendship gives me a chance to be familiar with the university life.

Let’s talk about the academic aspects I want to share with you. In the beginning of my university life I faced difficulties about my studies because I have limited friends on that time. On that time I faced difficulties to do all the assignment by myself. One way of solving this is Group study; it is one of the most important things in university life. I solve a lot of problem in group study. After my fifth semester I declare my concentration in Finance and minor in media studies and journalism, so I have two finance and two (MSJ) classes every week. At first, I got very nervous whenever I have to give my opinion and make a presentation in class, because I had not had such experiences before. However, I think that it is the valuable exercises to get accustomed to express my own opinions and feelings. Besides, I am challenging to get a high score in Finance. It is also an important target.

However, I have sometimes lost my original aim in my university life. In my curriculum, there are not only businesses courses but also other various courses such as social subjects and sciences which we called GED. I have to take those classes too. When I am plowed under with homework for the classes and work to the deadline of reports, I often faced unnecessary to studying on other courses. My aim is not to write reports for sociology and history. I came to this University to improve my skills in business sector.

Let’s talk about another aspect of university life. The best and most enjoyable part of university life is semester break. During the semester break as a member of ULAB Adventure club we traveled a lot of places in Bangladesh as well as in India. Clubs are the most interesting part of my university life where I met with different students from different semester. Sometimes we debate sometime we discuss. Besides classroom we learn a lot form clubs.

Let’s talk about the facilities of university. I can spend comfortably thanks to facility of this university. Facilities of this university are very beautiful and clean. I am glad to study in beautiful university. There are some my favorite facilities. My best favorite facility is library. The library is very comfortable. When I want to study by alone, I always go to library. I am anxious about my being lonely in university because there are so many people in this university. But I'm not anxious about it only in library. The faculties of this university are very talented they helped us in our study a lot. Among all the faculties some of them are my favorite. But we respect all our faculties.

I love my university life now because I can enjoy it. My university life has still one year. I'm sure to be able to enjoy it. I have some things I want to do in my university life. For example, I want to get some qualifications. I have to do my best for my one year to go so that I won't regret later. And after graduation I want to make my parents proud for me.
